I’ve learned to love my ‘flaws’. I don’t let society guide me and tell me what’s pretty. I love others, but I love myself more – I know I am unique and that I won’t exploit my potential to the fullest if I neglect that. I let myself BE. And I am finally free. Why do we want to be copies if we’re priceless the way we are? The world changes when a person let’s themselves be different and stays like that. It’s not okay to be ashamed of our own bodies. If others don’t like us it doesn’t mean we’re worth any less.

I am not my body. I don’t look for ideals or mediocrity in myself. I don’t need a flat stomach or smooth legs for my happiness. I don’t wake up to be pretty – I wake up to learn something, accomplish something and give something to somebody. I am here to spread happiness, not listen to comments about things that don’t affect my personality. Of course I love my body – I just think they are not as important as our society thinks they are.
