And I said to my body. Softly. »I want to be your friend.« It took a long breath and replied, » I have been waiting my whole life for this.«
- Nayyirah Waheed

After losing over 80 kilograms, without any concept or mentality about losing weight I don't even know, who I am. I love my body, I'm accepting it. It's an interesting map of my journey. But my life still revolves around food – I'm stuck with obsessing over food and the fear of losing control. I fight that battle every day – knowing I'll win it one day.
I'm accepting my body. I don't feel like a stranger in it. I love it – because it's strong. I love all the stretch marks. I love all the excess skin. I love all my muscles. It's the only body I have and I'm grateful, as I worked hard for it.
