I am all women who think they should please others to be accepted. I find myself playing a therapist to others and being a good listener. I'm a shoulder to cry on, but I keep forgetting about myself. I am all women who deserve to be accepted and love just the way they are.
I am all women who have been fighting weight their whole life. I am all women struggling with self-confidence, self-image, and the feel inferiority. I spent a majority of my life comparing myself to others and lost a piece of myself on the way. A turning point of my life was breaking up with my long-term boyfriend two years ago. After the break up, I decided to put myself first, heal my wounds and give myself a make-over. I lost 22 kilograms and even though the scale still doesn’t show the number that it ‘should’, I learned to cherish my body. I am all women who never surrendered and believe in themselves.
