I am all women who don't look like the girls in the magazine. And that's all right.
Since I can remember, I was never the skinny one when it came to my group of friends. I played sports but I was never satisfied with how I looked. I was always looking for flaws, not knowing that negative attitude towards yourself leads to an unhappy life. I was the girl that wanted to look and dress the way skinny girls do. It mattered then, but it doesn't anymore. What matters is the real beauty that comes from the inside. And by that I don't want to emphasize another cliché, but the realness in human beauty. It is the light in your eyes when you talk about something you love, the books you read, the places you've been, the good people you meet, the laughter, the confidence, your charisma and your mind. Beautiful mind inspires others. Sexiness comes out of self-love. Intelligence is sexy. Your physical appearance is only supposed to be a plus, not your whole package.
"When life gives you curves, flaunt them."
Nobody and nothing should be holding you back in life. We all have imperfections and once we start loving them and accept them we become the true versions of ourselves. Embrace all that is you. Embrace your curves. Embrace your mind. Embrace your passion. Find your fire.
